Quick 6 Pack Abs
By Charles Nash Platinum Quality Author

I wanted to take the time to talk to you about quick 6 pack abs. This is completely possible if you have the right information to apply. The sad part is that most people don't know a thing about getting abs. They have a lot of great excuses on why they can't succeed, like having bad genetics. Excuses aren't going to get you anywhere, so you really need to stop. Here are the facts; we as human beings function under the same biology and that means our body will react the the same as everyone else's.

There is no key to getting abs because you already have them. I think that is one of the biggest misconceptions that throw people off. You're not trying to obtain abs because they're under your stomach fat. That means quick 6 pack abs are achieved through fat loss. That brings us to our first point;

Abs are made in the kitchen

I've bet you've seen people that do sit ups every time they're at the gym. I laugh a little inside when I see this because it won't give them results. There is no such thing as spot reduction of fat. It's impossible for your abs to eat the fat around them, so stop doing sit ups. Work your entire body because you'll burn more calories this way.

As for your diet, you need to start eating smaller meals more often. I typically eat 6 smaller portioned meals a day because it speeds up my metabolism, making me a fat burning machine. It seems a little excessive at first, but you'll give used to it. It's really the most important thing to do for quick 6 pack abs.

The Truth About Six Pack Abs is that they're not as hard to get as most people think. Easy to apply methods that work with our biology can have you with abs in a short period of time.

How to Get 6 Pack Abs in 2 Months
By Kristie Chiles Platinum Quality Author

There are two ways to find out how to get 6 pack abs in 2 months:

First:

GO TO THE GYM WHERE YOU HAVE A MEMBERSHIP

Go to the gym where you have a membership (hopefully you do!) and ask for some instruction in the weight room. Most health gyms worth their money have a personal trainer or at least someone knowledgeable about the machines and classes to guide you. If not, find one that does. Ask the person in the weight room to guide you through a program and keep a diary of everything you do. This is the hardest way, perhaps, but if you are self-motivated, it can work for you.

Second:

GO ONLINE AND FIND A 6 PACK ABS PROGRAM

There are so many diet and ab programs online to choose from. Read the sales page and then decide which one sounds like a program that you would stick with. Do you like the voice of the audio that you would be listening to? Do you think the information has been rehashed or does it sound like something new and makes sense? Run it by someone at your gym such as a certified personal trainer or certified aerobics instructor that has knowledge. At the worst, you can get your money-back for most. At the best scenario, you will find a way to get 6 pack abs in 2 months.

6 Quick Tips For Six Pack Abs
By Jimmy Smith

I was in New York City last weekend and I decided to sit down and grab a meal. I headed into a pizza shop and really didn't want to eat pizza. Well then why walk into the shop in the first place? Well I knew this particular place had some good chicken salads so I got one and sat down in their little seating area. Next to me were a man and a women and the guy started telling the girl that he wants six pack abs. He was eating pizza but he wanted six pack abs.

That got me thinking, if this guy asked me how to get six pack abs and I had to answer him in 60 seconds or less, what would I tell him? So on the train ride home I thought about what six recommendations I could give him to get six pack abs.

1)Eat 4 junk foods meals per week. Am I serious? Yes I am, simply because getting six pack abs has a huge mental component to it as well. The fitness magazines make us think that we need to be mindless robots 24 hours a day and eat very little carbs and no fat or else we'll never get close to getting a rock hard midsection.

That's a very narrow minded way of thinking. Eating 3-4 cheat meals per week of whatever you want not only revs up your muscle building and fat burning hormones but it also allows from a mental break of eating hard and training hard.

2)Do your ab work after you do cardio. There is some evidence that doing ab exercises are interval cardio workouts leads to greater ab fat loss. Now I have to believe that this is due to increased blood flow to the stomach as a result of your
cardio workouts.

3)Alternate between intervals and incline cardio. Most training experts only recommend one type of cardio training but I don't agree in that. In the Physique Formula I talk about the benefits to both type of cardio workouts. It's a mistake to only perform one type of cardio like intervals because the intensity of intervals only allows you to burn extra calories three times a week. If you are trying to get six pack abs you'll need to burn extra calories every day.

4)Cut out the grains. I'm all for having some carbs during a diet but grains just stink. That wrecks our stomachs and lead to high blood sugar levels. Stick with fibrous carbs like yams, brown rice and oatmeal.

5)Add extra bodyweight workouts on day a week. Getting six pack abs means that you need to to raise your metabolism as much as possible. Going to the gym 3 or 4 times per week and doing 3 or 4 cardio workouts is fine but after awhile it isn't enough. Bodyweight workouts like in the Physique Formula should be quick, around 30 minutes and should be able to be done in your basement, garage or bedroom and when your kids are asleep or when you have some free time. These extra bodyweight workouts are a great way to set your body up to burn more calories when you sleep too.

6)Stretch. Seriously, most people ignoring stretching and it really bites them in the butt when they start to train hard to burn fat. I always hate when I have to do cardio because my hip flexors and hamstrings are tight .So I started stretching them hard and my performance on my intervals increased and I got six pack abs faster.

You Are 60 Days From Visible Six Pack Abs

By Steve R Robbins Platinum Quality Author

Having visible abs is about what you eat verses what you exercise. Without doing one ab workout, visible abs are within your reach in 60 days if you are 25 pounds or 4 inches in the waist overweight. Here's how.

I have been a fitness enthusiast and avid weight lifter for the last 15 years, managing to completely alter my appearance with the addition of 25-30 pounds of muscle mass. You don't do this without consuming more calories than your body needs, how else does it get the extra needed to add size. At know point during this 15 year mission have I ever had a visible six pack mid section, and I have done thousands of ab workouts.

By staying true to a healthy lifestyle my increased calorie intake allowed me to add muscle mass, though there will be an accompanying fat gain as well, but minimized. Knowing that visible abs were a function of how much is eaten, I decided to try and "cut" for the first time ever. Without altering anything else my abs have become visible in 60 days by doing just a couple things.

I stopped focusing on what I weigh, and started focusing on getting the exact amount of protein my body needed and not one gram more. With this in mind finding the best and purest form of that protein became important. As a weight lifter my concerns were ingesting a lot of protein, period. How I got that didn't matter to me as much. Lot's of beef, chicken, turkey, dairy products and so on. Through a little research and experimentation I was able to find the right kinds of food to eat and then weight lifting supplements to take that not only were less in carb, fat and sugar but then of course, calories.

Which is what you have to eliminate to lose weight in general, and fat in particular assuming you are getting enough protein per day.

The combination of these 2 ideas, the right kind of food protein sources, coupled with the right weight lifting supplements has curbed my appetite to the point where I can be full all day, nourished with the right body requirements and cut calories to the point that in 60 days I have dropped 20 pounds of pure fat.

Now all of the weight lifting routines I have done on ab work is able to be known by more than just me. I have visible six pack abs.

Six Pack Abs Myth
By Laura Violet Slenzak

Not many people stop to think about their abdominal muscles and how they are composed. It is much more common to think of them in terms of how we want them to look, hence the ever popular term "six pack." The reality is that this thinking and lack of understanding of the abdominal composition leads to what is actually a myth, that having a "six pack" means you have strong abdominals.

The abdominal muscles are no different than any other muscles in your body, they need to be worked and targeted to strengthen them effectively. The plurality of the muscle group is very important to note. The abdominals are composed of 4 muscles, rectus abdominis, external oblique, internal oblique and transverse abdominis, listed from superficial to deep. The irony of the proverbial "six pack" is that it is the development of the rectus abdominis, the most superficial, and I would argue the most insignificant of the abdominal muscle group.

The action of the rectus abdominis is flexion of the spine, also know as the ever popular stomach crunch. To really create a strong abdominal core, it is very important to target the other three muscles that compose your abdominals. These muscles are responsible for rotation, spinal stabilization, good posture, and breath control.

So as you are working towards your fitness goals, I would encourage you to target more than the superficial abdominal muscle. I'm not faulting you if you still want that "six pack." You can have that too, but it will be worth a whole lot more with the deeper support it needs from the other three abdominal players. Strengthening the deeper muscles will have an impact on your athletic performance and daily quality of life.

If you are looking for ways of learning exercises to tone these other muscles, consider Pilates or working with an athletic trainer that has training specific to core targeting.

How You Can Get 6 Pack Abs
By Michael R. Mitchell

To be up front and honest about how you can get 6 pack abs is that you have the drive and determination to make it happen. When you work out and your goal is to tone up any part of your body, it's not ever going to be easy. The only way you'll be able to obtain those awesome results that you desire is to be positive that you are willing to put in the work, time, and effort that it requires.

If you ever heard the expression, "no pain, no gain" then you know what it means to have the burn in your muscles when you're working out. You can get 6 pack abs, but you're going to have to push through the pain. That is really the time when you'll get the best results.

Besides being motivated and determined to get those 6 pack abs, there are a few other things you need to take care of to get you started.

Here is how you do it:

You can get 6 pack abs by first cutting out all that sugar from your diet. If you think you didn't read that right, you did...I'll repeat it - cut out all the sugar from your diet. You can quite realistically drop a few pounds in a few days by doing just that. I'm not only talking about obvious sugar like the chips, cookies and candy in your cupboards, but also the other kinds of sugar that your body doesn't need, like the refined sugars that you find in white pasta and bread. Making a few simple changes to whole wheat will make a big difference in your energy levels and how you feel.

You can get 6 pack abs by following another important step. And I believe it's obvious, but it is to become more active! When you eat all the right foods, yes, you can drop some poundage, but if you're not active, it won't change your physique, it will just be a smaller you. That's all fine and great if you're just looking for a smaller size in clothes, but if you're trying to obtain those 6 pack abs, then you're going to have to put in a little more effort.

If your abdomen is a problem area for you, you will probably notice that it is the hardest to sculpt. Believe me, if you are doing the proper workout to focus on that area, you are seriously building those muscles, but you just may not notice them right away. There are a lot of different exercises that will work well. What you need to do is pick a workout plan that suits you, whether it's going to your local gym and using their equipment, or following a workout plan that uses just your own body weight and the items around you at home. It's very attainable to get 6 pack abs as long as you stay focused and follow a workout plan that you can stick to until you reach your goal, and beyond to maintain that awesome new body.

How Fast Can I Get 6 Pack Abs?
By Michael J. Collins Platinum Quality Author

You have a specific result you want. You want to see your abs. The "6- pack" look.

We can break this down to 2 factors.

1) You must have a relatively low amount of fat stored in the abdominal region.

2) You must build the muscle fiber of the abdominal muscles

Now, to answer your question about how "fast" you can see your abs- that totally depends on how much body fat you already have hiding your abs, and how committed you are to bringing them out.

So what's the best way to tackle Factor 1? First off, I'd start with your diet. Fat loss boils down to calories in vs. calories out. Make sure you clean out all sugar filled soda, bread, pasta, rice, sweets, processed foods, boxed foods and alcohol (.. of course if you're trying so hard for a 6- pack, you wouldn't be banging down shots of tequila with your friends.. would you?)

What's the best way to tackle Factor 2? A Combination of cardio and calisthenics. For cardio- High Intensity Intervals. Hardcore cardio where you're still perspiring an hour after the workout. That's where the real benefit comes in. The heat you feel coming from your body is the side effect of calories (fat) being incinerated.

Calisthenics can be performed in a myriad number of ways, but to start I'd suggest bodyweight exercises such as squats, pushups, planks, and other exercises that you don't need a fully-equipped gym for. These will build the abdominal muscles so that when your body fat gets low enough, you'll start to see the 6-pack. These will build the muscle fiber actual muscle itself.

Follow this cycle to start today:

Body Weight Squat x 15 reps
Flag Pushup x 10 reps
Burpees x 5 reps
Plank 30 seconds
Trunk Rotations x 5 reps
Split Squat x 10 reps
Rest interval for 1 minute.

Repeat for as many circuits as you can in time (12 minutes) or a minimum of 3 circuits.

How to Create a Six Pack Abs Diet

By Shannon Clark Platinum Quality Author

If you're looking to get a six pack, it's going to be very important that you're carefully tracking exactly what you're putting into your mouth. While exercise will definitely play a role in your ability to get six pack abs, if you aren't making sure you're eating the right foods, the chances of you seeing success are going to be very slim.

That said, here are the main steps you must take to create your own effective six pack abs diet.

Set Calorie Intake

The first thing you'll want to do is set your calorie intake. This is a fine line for seeing results because you don't want to be taking in too few calories or you'll really see a slowed metabolic rate, but you also don't want to take in too many either or you won't lose any fat at all.

A good range to shoot for is between ten and thirteen calories per pound of body weight.

Most people will consistently lose weight on that amount and will see the results they're looking for.

Figure Out Your Protein Intake

The second step will be determining an optimal protein intake for your six pack abs diet. Protein is going to be the macronutrient that helps safeguard your muscle tissue the most, preventing you from losing lean muscle mass.

Protein also tends to be the most satisfying nutrient, so most people do really well on a flat abs diet that contains a higher amount of protein. Shoot for 1-1.5 grams per pound of bodyweight each day.

Decide Whether You'll Do A Low-Carb Diet

Finally, the last step to successfully create a six pack abs diet is to decide how many carbs you'll consume on the diet. Many people do really well on a low carb diet approach but do note that this isn't for everyone.

In some cases all they will do is make you feel tired, irritable, and make it next to impossible to get through your workout.

This tends to be somewhat individual so it's a smart idea to spend some time figuring out exactly what will work best for you. There's nothing special about low carb diets that make them much better - if you're consuming the same number of calories on a mixed diet you'll still get just as good of results.

So be sure you keep these three steps in mind as you create your six pack abs diet. If you really want to achieve this goal, it's a must.

Best Diet For Six Pack Abs
By Shannon Clark Platinum Quality Author

If you were to ask someone who currently has a lean stomach what they feel is the biggest element to success, chances are nine out of ten of them would state that you need to find the best diet for six pack abs.

There is no doubt about it, if you want to strip away the fat around your middle to reveal the six pack of abs you have underneath, you are going to have to watch what you're putting in your mouth on a daily basis.

There may be a very few of us who are genetically blessed and do not need to pay much attention to our food intake but these individuals are few and far in between.

Here are the main principles you should follow that will make up the best diet for six pack abs.

Time Your Carbohydrates Correctly

The first thing you should do to maximize your fat loss and ability to get six pack abs is to time your carbohydrates correctly. Since you are going to be most in need of energy right around the workout period, this is when you want to focus on getting the most carbs in.

Eating them during other periods in the day isn't going to be much benefit to you and over time, could be what prevents you from losing weight and getting a six pack.

You want the calorie dense, starchy carbohydrates before and after your workout and then the vegetable sources of carbohydrates later on throughout the day.

If you workout late at night, reverse this process.

Be Sure You're Getting Enough Protein

Second, the most important element of the best six pack abs diet will be protein. Protein is what spares your lean muscle mass, keeps you feeling full, and speeds your metabolism the most.

Ideally each meal or snack you eat should contain a solid source of protein and this nutrient should make up about 30-50% of your fat loss diet.

Don't Eliminate All Fats

Finally, you also want to be sure you're not eliminating all fats. Dietary fat, while calorie dense, will help stop hunger in its track, making it far easier to follow your six pack abs diet.

Ideally each meal that's not immediately before or after a workout should contain 7-10 grams of fat as this seems to be the 'sweet' spot for preventing hunger.

So be sure you're keeping these points in mind. By doing so, you'll see yourself progress that much quicker to getting a flat stomach.

Six Pack Abs - Ab Workouts Without Gadgets Or Fad Diets
By Anne Girder Platinum Quality Author

How can the average person achieve six pack abs and a lean muscular body? In fact, is it even possible without expensive ab exercise gadgets, fad diets, or dubious weight loss pills and supplements? Everyone knows how to lose excess weight if they are really honest, it requires some exercise and a balanced diet. Similarly to build a lean body with six pack abs, there are sensible and safe ways of doing it, and they don't involve pills or expensive ab workout gadgets. In this article we will look at how.

Many people looking to build six pack abs are not aware that they likely already have well developed abdominal muscles, certainly more than they think, without needing specific ab exercises. However, any abdominal muscles they have are often hidden by the layers of excess fat most of us carry around our waist and abdomen. This highlights one of the keys to building the physique you desire - you need to lower your body fat percentage so that your abdominal muscles are visible.

For areas such as the upper arms this is not the case because there is much more muscle mass there than fat deposits, but for the abdomen it is critical. You can pound the miles on a treadmill and lift weights all day, but without burning excess fat your abs will remain firmly hidden! How can we lower our body fat percentage? The answer of course is a combination of sensible diet and exercise.

One method some people choose in an attempt to burn their excess fat and reveal those abs is drugs and diet pills. Everyone has seen advertisements for miracle supplements and the latest fat-burning pills, but do they actually work, and should you even consider using them? There are a number of different types of diet pills, firstly let us examine what they can do.

There do exist drugs which can help to increase the rate at which the body burns fat, they do this by increasing the metabolism. However such medications are not designed for use by healthy people, they are specifically for use in cases where a medical patient is dangerously obese and exercise and diet can no longer be used to lower their weight. These drugs are prescribed by doctors only in severe cases, and they have well documented side effects which are only risked in obese patients where this is the last resort.

The other type of diet pills tend to be natural supplements, which to be honest have very little if any effect on the body. The are often sold by commercial companies to desperate people seeking an easy way to lose weight without effort, and are certainly not going to have any effect on someone trying to build a ripped body with six pack abs.

The real, lasting, and safe method to build impressive abdominals and a toned body in general, is to make a commitment to a long term program combining regular exercise (to both burn fat and build muscle mass), and a sensible natural diet which provides all the healthy foods you body needs without adding additional reserves of fat. It sounds simple, of course, but actually following it through is the tough part. Most of us need some sort of guidance at the very least to make such a change work, for some people this involves hiring personal trainers, for others there are excellent books and programs available online which can break the steps down for anyone to follow.

If you are looking to build six pack abs and a lean, ripped body, without wasting money on the latest fad diets and ab machines, and without spending hours every day on a treadmill, visit SixPackABSWorkouts.net for an in depth look at the best options available.

Fat burning workouts are the cornerstone of any good weight loss program. But it needs to be the right six pack ab workouts.

You need a workout that will not only burn calories during the workout but also boost your metabolism after the workout.

It's also crucial that your six pack ab workouts help preserve your muscle mass or even increase the amount of lean muscle on your body.

I recently was away on business for a week and had a really full schedule and no gym nearby to get in a good weight workout. Did I let this stop me? Absolutely not!

I kicked it up a notch with some serious fat burning workouts in my hotel room using nothing but simple bodyweight exercises that can be done anywhere.

Bodyweight workouts are extremely effective and not just for fat burning workouts but for overall conditioning, cardio and bodyweight strength training as well.

Here's a great example of one of my fat burning workouts using bodyweight exercises that took about 15 minutes, including warm up and cool down.

  • 20 Bodyweight Squats

  • 20 Push Ups

  • 10 Squat Jump

  • 10 Leg Raises (2 second pause at top)

  • 15 Close "Grip" Push Ups

  • 20 Lunges (10 Per Leg)

  • 5 Dive Bomber Push Ups

Repeat one more time without stopping. Try and finish this bodyweight workout as quickly as possible. Believe me, you'll feel it. Not tough enough for you?
